THREE ESSENTIAL INGREDIENTS
In the music business, there are no hard-and-fast rules for achieving success. Based on past experience, however, we have identified certain common elements shared by the vast majority of successful groups. We believe that in order for an act to achieve any level of success, a product – i.e. a record of superior quality – is needed. For us to assist an artist in making such a record, three essential ingredients must coalesce:
- Songs. First and foremost, there must be an amazing group of songs – i.e. songs that can mesh together collectively to make a “whole;” songs that complement one another and that a listener can enjoy from start to finish. Ideally, these songs should target a specific audience, contain at least some “radio tracks,” and communicate a clear vibe.
- Artist. Next, there must be a talented artist who has the voice, looks, drive, attitude, age and intangibles of a potential star.
- Capital. There must be sufficient capital to cover costs. In some cases, the artists themselves are responsible for covering costs; in other instances, they are not. For more on cost and budgets, please contact us.
